Takedown Policy

Takedown Policy (Notice-and-Action)

Effective date: 27 August 2025

This page explains how to request the removal or restriction of content on Pervert.Chat. It complements our Complaint Policy and is specifically designed for requests such as: copyright or trademark infringement, privacy/defamation concerns, non-consensual content, and creator consent withdrawal.

Summary

- Use this page to report copyright/trademark issues, privacy or defamation concerns, non-consensual content, or to withdraw creator consent.

- We acknowledge valid notices promptly and act as quickly as possible—immediately for emergency categories.

- We notify the uploader/creator (where appropriate) and offer a counter-notice/appeal channel.

- We enforce a repeat-infringer policy and may take account actions for abuse of this process.

Zero-Tolerance & Emergency Removal

We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy for the following. We will disable access and escalate immediately upon awareness:

- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content depicting/soliciting minors, including “youthful-looking” depictions.

- Human trafficking, sexual violence, or content posted to intimidate, extort, or dox someone.

- Credible threats of harm or other clearly unlawful content.

If you are reporting any of the above, please flag this as “EMERGENCY” in the subject line and provide any links/usernames you have. We will act immediately.

What qualifies for a takedown?

- Copyright — Your original work used without permission.

- Trademark — Use of your registered mark that causes confusion or passes off your brand.

- Privacy / Defamation — Sensitive personal information, doxxing, or statements that are false and harmful to reputation.

- Non-Consensual Intimate Content (NCII) — Any intimate content shared without consent or beyond the scope of consent.

- Creator Consent Withdrawal — Performers/creators who previously consented may withdraw consent for further display/distribution on Pervert.Chat.

- Impersonation/Fraud — Accounts or content pretending to be someone else for deception.

What happens next

- Acknowledgement: We acknowledge valid notices promptly (usually within 24 hours, faster for emergencies).

- Initial action: We may temporarily disable access to the content while we review.

- Review & decision: We assess the notice, may request further details, and then remove/restrict content where appropriate. For NCII/CSAM/emergencies we act immediately.

- Uploader/creator notification: Where appropriate, we notify the uploader/creator and share the substance of the claim.

- Record-keeping: We log notices and our actions and may retain minimal copies for evidential purposes.

Typical timelines: emergency content — immediate; NCII/privacy/impersonation — priority handling; copyright/trademark/defamation — as swiftly as reasonably possible (usually within 2–5 business days depending on clarity and volume).

Counter-Notice & Appeals

If you believe your content was removed or restricted by mistake:

- Email legal@pervert.chat with subject “COUNTER-NOTICE”.

- Include:

a) Your Pervert.Chat username and contact details.

b) Link(s) or IDs for the content at issue and the date you received our notice.

c) A clear explanation of why the content is lawful or authorized (e.g., your rights, a valid license, truthful opinion, fair dealing, parody, etc.).

d) Your declaration that the information is accurate and that you consent to us sharing your counter-notice with the complainant.

We will review counter-notices in good faith. Where disputes persist (e.g., defamation/copyright), we may keep content disabled unless and until the parties resolve the issue or a competent authority orders restoration. Nothing in this policy requires us to display content that violates our Terms or applicable law.

Repeat-Infringer / Account Actions

We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate IP or privacy laws or our Terms (e.g., multiple sustained notices, evasion, or egregious conduct). We may also restrict features, withhold payouts, or require additional verification where appropriate.

Misuse of the Takedown Process

Submitting false, misleading, or bad-faith notices may result in account action and potential legal liability. Only submit a notice if you have a good-faith belief that the content is unlawful or infringes your rights.

Data & Privacy

We process personal data in handling notices (e.g., names, emails, and the details you provide). We retain notice records as necessary to comply with our legal obligations and protect our rights. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
